Why you need it: it is a high-output module that will work in 4-, 6-, and 8-cylinder motors. The rev limiter is adjustable in 100-rpm increments between 4-8,500 rpm by DIP switches--no chips are required. Due to the high-energy output of the module, it is highly recommended that you use the matching coil, part No. 29215. Installation is simple, as it replaces the GM four-pin module. This high-output ignition has 190 millijoules of spark energy and 535 volts of primary power at the coil.
