The Chi-Town STA-BIL Kruze and Car Show is a perfect way to kick off summertime activities in the city of Chicago. The Chi-Town STA-BIL Kruze will include a classic car cruise and rally. First, the cruise is a rare opportunity for cars of all makes, models and vintage to cruise up and down historic Lake Shore Drive from Wilson Avenue to 31st Street. The cruise route allows cars to parade past Buckingham Fountain in front of thousands of spectators showcasing their nostalgic vehicles.

Immediately following the cruise, pre 1981 cars will head to Soldier Field along Chicago's beautiful lakefront to display their vehicles, socialize with friends and enjoy a variety of activities including family entertainment, car clinics, fabulous food and collectable merchandise displays.

The Chi-Town STA-BIL Kruze is delighted to announce their commitment to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana as its charity sponsor. One half of car show registration fees and 100% of the $5 admission fee for spectators will be donated to the charity.

Jerry Robbin, Founder of the International Mercury Owners Association and the brains behind this unique event states, "Our mission is to bring a world-class automobile event to the City of Chicago that exposes the general public to the collector car world, in one of the most beautiful and historic driving environments. I felt that Chicago was in need of an event for both the auto enthusiast and the general public alike."

While the cruise is free and open to all road-approved vehicles, there is a $20 registration fee to participate in the car show and it is limited to the first 750 "pre-1981" cars.
