Snow in early April! Who'd a thunk it? Well in the Northeast, it's not a very rare occurrence. Case in point: Snow was actually in the forecast for the 27th Annual Pontiac Show & Go ('07 HPP Day) at Englishtown Raceway Park in New Jersey on April 7.
Figuring that the threat of snow coupled with temps in the 30s would ensure a poor show-car turnout, the powers-that-be at E-town postponed the show. The racing, however, went on as planned. Though attendance was lighter than usual, again because of the weather and the fact that there was no car show, intrepid Pontiac racers still made a great turnout. So check out the photos for all the action and to find out who won.
The show has been rescheduled for September 1, 2007, and on that day there will also be one large Pontiac muffled street class on the strip. Stay tuned for more '07 HPP Day coverage.
