Walt and Linda Hollifield's '69 GTO's show placard says it's, "The only R/A-V GTO built under contract from Pontiac Engineering for NHRA drag racing, January 1970, built by Schornack at his shop, Royal Automotive. Not a clone, this is the original R/A-V developed for Pontiac Engineering and was the only R/A-V to be successful at the dragstrip." The Espresso Brown and Hurst Gold GTO features an experimental 0.060 over 428 R/A-V engine, the original Tom Nell-built Turbo 400 trans and 2,000 stall converter, a 4.11-geared 10-bolt rear and just 19,000 miles on its odometer.
