Here is Steve's '65 Tempest...

Here is Steve's '65 Tempest Funny Car project. Bill Milburn has completed most of the metal work to fix the rust and alter the wheelbase. It's being built with a '59 389 block and is bored and stroked to 577 cubes with the aid of 2-inch block spacers of Steve's own design and a 4.800-in stroke billet crank. A 6-bolt main/girdle assembly, a custom pan, and 8-plus-inch long rods are in the bottom end. Pontiac hemi heads are being considered, and a Mooneyham 14-71 supercharger with Enderle injection will be employed. Bill will build the custom headers. The trans will be a Turbo 400 or a Lenco with a dual disc pedal clutch. The rear is a narrowed 9 1/4-inch unit from a '63 Big Car. Steve plans to use the '65 for exhibitions, match races, and even on the street from time to time.

The '66 GTO of Steve's late...

The '66 GTO of Steve's late brother, Joe, was on display in his memory at the event. Joe was a lifelong Pontiac man like his younger brother. He also helped Steve out each year with Pontiac Heaven and enjoyed the event and driving his '66 GTO immensely.
