Brian Diffenbaugh's '57 Chieftain Safari wagon was purchased by his brother in 1979. It appeared to have been hot-rodded in the late '60s or early '70s and raced. Though his brother has since passed away, Brian forged ahead with the project. Trickworks in Telford, Pennsylvania, rebuilt the '57 as an old-school hot rod/street racer. A Spotts Performance-built bored and stroked '59 389 (now 429ci) is under the hood and backed by a five-speed manual trans. View Related Article
