2011 Pci Convention 1969 Pontiac Firebird
|
One of the more unusual cars at the POCI Convention was this ’69 Firebird convertible, owned by Chad Brousseau and Curtis Judd. It was customized by George Barris and was used on the TV series I Dream of Jeannie. The Bird was on a trailer when it was damaged by a deer coming over the tow vehicle. It was in rough but restorable condition and was well-documented. Incidentally, the hood was a fiberglass design similar to the steel one eventually used on the ’69 T/A, and was nearly identical to the one used on the Barris-customized ’68 Super Teen Firebird.
