Pontiac Tempest LeMans

The Pontiac Tempest was introduced in 1961 and the Tempest LeMans was released later the same year as a high-end trim package for the coupe (and the convertible in 1962). The Pontiac Tempest also gave rise to the GTO which was originally a performance upgrade to the Tempest and played a major role in launching the muscle car era.
