Besides the obvious benefits of increased fuel economy and consistent performance, fuel injection was chosen because the throttle body is shorter than a Q-jet, which set the shaker at the correct height despite sitting atop of a tall Holley Street Dominator intake manifold. Notice what's missing? Any hint of the fuel injection unit--like a trail of messy wiring. A custom engine wiring harness was made by Lester by hand to accommodate the new underhood components and clean up the look by hiding the wires and the fuel injection harness (which runs under the intake). View Related Article
