1968 Pontiac Firebird - Trans-Atlantic Bird
|
Chris reflects on his motor from an international perspective, "The engine is a bit of a mystery. I found an ad for a '67 Firebird convertible--it was a 400ci auto car that had been hit down one side. Most of it had been parted already, but the 400 fired right up and sounded great. As it ran well, I just threw a new roller timing chain on it, painted it, and put it in the coupe. I have no idea what the cam is, but I can say it pulls really hard at 5,500 rpm. I need a more stout bottom end to let this thing rev!" View Related Article
