Beneath a stock hood rests 467 cubic inches of Pontiac power. With a 455 block, a 4.25-inch stroker crank, a big roller cam, massaged Edelbrock heads, and more, Craig says this engine put out 540 hp on an engine dyno with just 30 degrees timing. On Triangle Speed Shop's in-house Mustang chassis dyno, with 38 degrees timing, he says 440 hp was put to the rear wheels.
