The 389ci Tri-Power had been available on the GTO since ’64. Though the center Rochester two-barrel carburetor was larger for ’66, it remained rated at 360 hp. It was made even more lethal in midyear for ’66 with a factory-installed Ram Air package. There was, however, no change in the power output rating. Though this GTO’s original Ram Air pan was missing, the owner located another for it during the restoration.
