 Here's the Catalina before...  Here's the Catalina before it was rechristened.  Check out that dash. It looks...  Check out that dash. It looks nearly brand-new, and it was! Compare this to the new vision achieved by Jim's son, Rob and his friend Kevin--specifically the lack of a heater and radio controls.  After a quick Sawzalling of...  After a quick Sawzalling of the rusted exhaust and the removal of a few bolts, the original 389 engine was lifted out.  Remember that heater plug?...  Remember that heater plug? Take a gander at that. Looks like it was never punched out.  The interior had been removed...  The interior had been removed for refurbishing by this stage. Check out the original steering wheel.  At home inside Rob and Kevin's...  At home inside Rob and Kevin's new shop, the car was nearly assembled and ready for paint.  Even unfinished, that Ice...  Even unfinished, that Ice Pearl really shines.  With just a few touch-ups...  With just a few touch-ups left, the grille assembly and bumper are about to be installed. From here, it was onto a trailer and to the '05 POCI Convention.
