Though a medium-rise dual-quad aluminum intake manifold topped by two 500-cfm Carter AFB carburetors would be correct for this application, Ken opted to install this rare two-piece 'bathtub' unit and a pair of correct 625-cfm Carter AFB carburetors onto the Catalina. Since there wasn't a factory air-cleaner produced for the application, Ken used screens like those found on the '69 Firebird Trans Am carburetor to filter incoming air. View Related Article
