You may have noticed that the exhaust splitters on this Trans Am aren't the chrome units typically found on all other T/As, but are instead black chrome. Developed for the 50th Anniversary Trans Am produced in 1976, few received them that year before they were seemingly dropped from production. Larry says these were on his Trans Am when he took delivery, and that there's no indication they weren't factory installed. Your guess is as good as ours. View Related Article
