1964 Pontiac GTO - Rebel's Rollover Restored
|
According to its owner, the GTO, which was built during the second week of January in 1964 at the Kansas City, Missouri, assembly plant, contains dealer-installed seatbelts with a production date of March 8, 1964. That might indicate someone was aware of the then-19-year-old original owner's driving habits. He wrecked the GTO within a few weeks of adding the seatbelts. While a three-speed manual transmission was standard equipment, this GTO's floor-mounted shifter is connected to an M20 Muncie four-speed manual, which was a $188 option. View Related Article
