Free-Flowing Four-Door
American Racing Headers promises more performance from your G8 GT sedan with its G8 header system. Made in the U.S. using 304 stainless steel, it features merge collectors with scavenger spikes, 1.75-inch or 1.875-inch primaries, 0.375-inch flanges, and 200-cell metallic substrate cats. The company claims gains of 38 rwhp and 41 lb-ft of torque with this bolt-on system. This G8 header system isn't emissions-legal, but it does maintain the O2 sensor bungs. The price is $1,600. Can AM Credentials
Phoenix Graphix announces a GM-licensed decal kit for the limited-edition '77 Pontiac Can Am. It features 15 three-color premolded stripes, 7 four-color "Can Am" names, and 10 large lower blackout decals, just like the factory graphics kit. According to Phoenix Graphix, "This Can Am Kit is the best-quality product to become available since [the decals] were discontinued from the factory. They're silk-screened and UV-coated, producing a long-lasting, high-gloss product. The best materials have been used to provide a user-complete GM Restoration Parts decal kit; the colors and design are identical to the factory originals; templates and positioning tabs have been implemented for ease of application; and only a limited quantity have been produced."The price for the full kit is $415.
