Mountain State Mayhem, Part 3: Cookin' Class Races

OWNER BIO
Scott Depot, West Virginian Roger Keeling was one of the most experienced racers in this shootout. Our 54-year-old competitor had 30 years of racing under his belt, with one IHRA Stock championship back in 1981. After race modifications to his bright red '02 Bird, it left MPR Race Cars in Almont, Michigan and went straight to Indy for a qualifying session. Roger runs in Super Stock GT/EA where the index is 10.95. His best performance to date has been a 9.96, .99 under that index. Keeling finds the Fourth-Gen. cars to be very aerodynamic and easy to work on--apparently so, since he also owns a '98 Trans Am.
