Bret Blankemeyer

Bret, 42 years old, has been racing for 15 years. He bought his '68 GTO in 1996 because he "fell in love with the '68 GTO from the movie My Science Project and had to have one," he says. It's special to him because it's his "dream car."

Bret describes his most unusual moment with the car: "I rescued it from a life in an old barn, and when we were getting it out of the barn there was a horse in there. As we were passing by, the horse bit right down on the front right fender and took two little chunks of paint off. We all just laughed about it. It was just too funny." Though this is Bret's only Pontiac, his wife owns a '68 Firebird project car.
