Pontiac Pavement Pounders Shootout in Virginia

OWNER BIO: JOHN MUNTEAN
John has 20-plus years of racing under his Pontiac belt. He picked up this '72 GTO because, "I have always loved GTOs, and this one came along and looked like a prime candidate for street/strip action," he says. John has owned more than 30 Pontiacs and he is just 39 years old. Currently in his collection are two '69 GTOs--one a Judge--a '70 GTO, a '67 GTO, and a '96 Trans Am.What he likes most about his '72 is the engine, because it's capable of quick 1.61 60-foot times and has more than 400 passes on it with no problems.
