Pontiac Pavement Pounders Shootout in Virginia

OWNER BIO: JEFF RAFF
Twenty-year race veteran Jeff Raff told HPP, "I bought the '64 because I saw it on the side of the road in 1984 and thought it looked cool, like a Chevelle, but it was not a Chevelle, so I worked a deal for $400. In 1986 I started racing it. I drove it to the racetrack until 1989 when it got too radical to drive on the street much. It does see some occasional street use now, however." Jeff says his favorite moments behind the wheel of his '64 GTO came when, "I won the race at GTOAA East Coast Regionals meet, and driving a lap in the GTO at the Brickyard at the GTOAA Nats in 1993." He also owns a '66 GTO convertible.
