"I've always loved the look of the '64, so when the chance came to buy this one in 1991, I jumped at it," Erik says. "I love drag racing, and had to take this Pontiac to the track." The '64 LeMans in GTO clothes has seen the 9s and won the Quick 16 at YearOne's Commerce Challenge in 2004, "beating two Chevys, a Buick, and a Ford," thereby marking Erik's favorite moments behind the wheel. The happily married 42-year-old father of three has been racing for 21 years. He runs his own auto repair business and maintains the family Pontiacs, which currently include a '71 T/A, an '87 Formula, an '86 T/A, a '98 Montana, and an '88 Bonne SSE.

| The five most important runs are listed in the order that they occurred. |
| Run Notes: 1) Spun bad through the eighth-mile; 2) Lowered launch rpm to compensate for track conditions, e.t. improved as a result; 3) Spun off the line; 5) Spun a little after launch, 2-3 shift rpm too high; 6) Best run all day! |
