Pontiac Pavement Pounders Shootout - Virginia Motorsports Park Part:III

Pontiac Pavement Punders Shootout Virgina 1973 Ventura Burnout

Owner Bio: Joe & Josh Maguire
Just 22 years old, Josh has already been racing for six years. The Eastern Kentucky University student says that his goal in building the '73 Ventura with his dad Joe as a father/son project was "to get the car on the cover of HPP." Having purchased this Ventura in the winter of 2002, Josh cites his favorite moment behind the wheel as "The first 6-second pass I made-it ran a 6.99 at 98 mph in the eighth." Though this is Josh's only Pontiac currently, with regard to the family Ponchos, he says, "You name it, we had it-from an original '70 Judge four-speed to a '69 GTO convertible that my mom drove daily 'til the mid-'90s. There's not enough room to list them all."
