Owner Bio: Paul Williams
At 41 years old, Paul, a Catholic priest and pastor of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Carrollton, Georgia, has been racing since he was 17. He purchased his GTO in March 2004 for the express purpose of racing it, and Paul is proud of the fact that, "I've done almost all the work on my GTO myself: motor (with help from friend Robert Vanderzalm of Tri-Star Automotive in Tyrone, Georgia), tranny, differential, and many other mods." His behind-the-wheel highlight in the GTO came, "running 11's for the first time." Paul's best performance with his GTO to date is, "Runner-up (out of 40 cars) in the 3rd Georgia vs. Florida GTO Shootout in Valdosta, Georgia," in 2006. Though he enjoys his late-model muscle, the pastor also owned a '70 GTO Judge in the past. You can bet his GTOs have been the talk of the parish each Sunday by all who worship Pontiacs as well. The pastor even has a Web site with pictures and video of his GTO on the strip (http://padrenet.com/racing/).
