Owner Bio: Jim Flees
Jim Flees, a 30-year-old test operations supervisor, has been racing for 10 years. He bought his '71 GTO in 1993 when he was 15 years old and it's special to him because, "you don't see too many '71 GTOs around," he said. His favorite moment in it was when "I ran my first 11.54 e.t. on pump gas in street trim." He built his GTO himself with the help of friend Joe Quiles, and he's currently working on two other classic GTOs, a '64 and a '68.
