Owner Bio: Tom Fredericks
Tom Fredericks, a 62-year-old retired tire-shop owner, has been racing for 44 years. He bought his '72 Ventura in 2007. "I wanted something other than a Firebird or a GTO." It's special to him because of the excellent condition of the car. He purchased it from the original owner, and has the original '72 California title and the correct plates for the car. His favorite moment in it "has to be doing the shootout at Norwalk," he says. Besides his X-body, Tom also owns a '69 Firebird, which he has had for 30 years.
