Run Notes: 1) Footbrake launch, spun tires a bit; 2) Used transbrake, big wheel stand (approximately 250 feet), smashed header tubes; 3) Front end too tight, needs more travel Owner Bio: Mike Kasparian Sr.
Mike, a 52-year-old electronic-service technician, has been racing for 28 years. He received his '71 LeMans as a graduation gift from his parents in 1974, and it's special to him. "It was my first car. I drove it to high school, college, and work." His most memorable experiences in it were winning the Pontiac Nationals at Route 66 Raceway in 1999 and the first time it ran 9.99. Though this is currently Mike's only Pontiac, he has previously owned a '69 Judge, a '69 LeMans, and a '70 GTO.
