Run Notes: 1) Speed shift, ran good; 2) Power shifted, felt great; 3) Missed Second gear, incomplete pass. Note: Was learning to power shift, first time on track.
Owner Bio: Teddy Robb
Teddy, a 20-year-old Walsh University college student, counts this event as his very first drag race. His dad, Ted Robb, an HPP alumnus who's been featured in the magazine four times, bought him his '68 Firebird in 2007 as a father/son project. It's special to Teddy because "my dad and I built it together," he says. His favorite moment in it was driving it to his high-school graduation in 2008. This is Teddy's first and only Pontiac-so far. In addition to joining the Pontiac drag-racing community, Teddy was a National Bicycle League (NBL) BMX Champion (1998) and an all-star high-school football player.
