Owner Bio: Dave Laudenschlager
Dave, a 47-year-old oil company maintenance manager, has been racing for 27 years. He bought his '69 GTO in 1977 for $300. It's special to him because, "It's my very first car. I bought it when I was 15, and it's a Ram Air IV," he says. His favorite moment in it was the first time he was ever at a dragstrip, when he won the Street Division class at Bunker Hill Dragway in Peru, Indiana, in 1982. Dave has a fondness for '69 Pontiacs in general. He's owned two '69 GTOs, a '69 Judge, and a '69 Executive. Currently, he owns a second '69 GTO, '85 and '96 Grand Prixs, and an '03 Grand Am. Dave and his son, Chris, are shown in the photo.
