Owner Bio: Damon Sampson
Damon, a 32-year-old shop manager at Mast Motorsports, bought his Trans Am in 2006 to go fast and have fun. He's been racing for 14 years and his first Pontiac was an '89 GTA. He says the TA is special to him because, "it was my first LS-series car, and I performed the engine build and installed the electronics to put the M-90 ECM into the car in preparation for the '07 LSX Shootout. Though in storage prior to the Shootout, when the T/A fired up, it instantly brought the racing excitement back." Besides this vehicle, his wife, Jakey, owns a G8 GT.
