When it came time to install our injectors, we noticed a problem with those closest to the large mounting bracket that attaches to the intake manifold. The injectors were butting right up against the mounting bracket itself, which was pointing the injectors at incorrect angles away from the rails. If you still have stock injectors at this point you won't have this problem. However, if you are running Lucas 009 42.5 lb-hr injectors as we were, you will need this simple fix; Using three 4mm automotive grade washers per screw from our local parts store placed between the rail and the bracket, we were able to move the mounting point of the bracket away from any interference at the injector. The good news is that the mounting hole in the bracket is just large enough to compensate for the adjustment and still mount properly. View Related Article
