Use emery cloth to polish all of the shoe slide points and the pivot of the center anchor. That is the round boss above the wheel cylinder. Check the wheel cylinder for leaks. It should be bone dry. If in doubt, now is the time to replace or rebuild it. Lubricate the slide points with silicone brake grease. View Related Article
