We removed the screen from the mass airflow meter/throttle body in desperation to run a 14-second quarter-mile. The throttle response improved, but the 60-foot and quarter e.t.'s dropped by only a hundredth. Bigger improvements are usually seen on V-8s and supercharged V-6s doing this mod. View Related Article
