With the Stef's oil pan removed, you can see the Melling oil pump and the rest of the bottom end, including the thick pan rail of the IAII block--it's actually solid up to the bend for the cylinder banks. The bottom of the cylinders are notched to allow up to a 4.75-inch stroke without grinding. Note the crank scraper that Kaase made. View Related Article
