Cam Quandary

Out of curiosity, we used our simulator to compare the No. 402 cam against Pontiac's workhorse No. 067. While it predicts that the No. 067 will produce slightly more peak horsepower and torque, the average power numbers of the two cams are so similar that there would likely be no measurable difference on the track. The program does suggest, however, less idle vacuum from the No. 067, which may indicate less idle quality. View Related Article
