2004 - 2006 GTO Exhaust Conversion - Easy Breather

Aftermarket driveshafts, such as the BMR carbon-fiber unit and Harrop differential cover shown here, normally have a hard time clearing most aftermarket exhausts due to their routing on the '04. Check out the ample clearance to both the driveshaft and the differential cover provided by the Stainless Works '04-to-'05/'06 conversion exhaust; you won't have to worry about any sort of contact with this system.

Here is the completed system. It's much more appealing than the dual driver-side exit system on the stock '04-not to mention the sound is to die for! We started the Pontiac to let it warm the system so it could "settle" and we could check for leaks. After the first complete heat cycle, we retorqued all the fittings and clamps snugly.
