What is it? Ultratorque Starter
Why You Need It: This starter provides more reliable cranking for race motors up to 18.1 compression, a 4.4:1 gear-reduction ratio, and is a direct bolt-in replacement for your factory starter. It produces 250 lb-ft of torque at only 10.5 pounds and may be used on stock original or race motors.

What is it? Timing Twister
Why You Need It: The Timing Twister has four rotary dials that provide the ability to advance the timing curve, set up a step retard, or even select a retard rate based on boost pressures. Control over the timing can improve economy and performance, as well as help tune the engine for other modifications. The entire timing curve can be advanced up to 9 degrees in 1-degree increments. There is another setting for a wire-activated step retard, primarily designed for use with nitrous oxide. When used with forced-induction and the optional MAP sensor, you can easily dial in a retard based on boost pressure. Twist in 0.1 of 1.9 degree of timing per pound of boost to retard the timing up to 30 degrees. If you ever need to bypass the modified timing settings, twist the dial, and the factory curve will be restored.

What is it? 6LS-2 Ignition Controller
Why You Need It: The 6LS-2 is designed specifically for the LS2. This compact ignition controller is fit with matching factory connectors for a direct installation. Only a handful of connections are required: the coils, crank sensor, MAP sensor, and cam sensor. Features include the ability to run a carbureted LS2 engine without complicated EFI hardware, map a timing curve using Pro-Data+ software, program a two-step rev limiter, set step retard, and plug into factory components. (Note: Early versions of the LS2 require a different part number.)

What is it? PERFECT PowerCom System 1 and 2 Computer Controller and Harness
Why You Need It: PowerCom System I and II are designed for Pontiac owners who want to put an LS1 motor into an '85-or-earlier Pontiac. The PowerCom system takes over the computer functions of the LS1 and allows the motor to work in your Firebird, GTO, or Grand Prix. PowerCom System II has all the features of the PowerCom System I and adds an electronic transmission controller for Pontiac owners who also want to put a 4L60E computer-controlled transmission in their '85-or-earlier Pontiac.
