Spek Boost Controller
Why you need it:
Control turbo boost with this gauge/controller. This product includes a microprocessor that learns your tire-traction characteristics to prevent over-boosting in first gear, resulting in tire spin. A second great feature is de-boost, which programs in boost reduction upon reaching your preset redline, saving your engine from high rpm overboost damage. A third feature called "scramble" is great for quarter-mile passes and allows you to set maximum boost upon the flick of a switch for a pre-determined length of time. Three models are available: vacuum to 30 psi, boost to 30 psi, and boost to 60 psi.

Why you need it:
Did you know that engaging nitrous below a certain rpm can be dangerous to your Pontiac engine? And if your nitrous is engaged when your engine hits its rev limiter, it can produce dangerous intake system backfires? To avoid these issues, ZEX Traction Control Window Switch allows you to set the lower rpm limit for nitrous to activate and to set the upper rpm for it to deactivate. This product can also be programmed to be gear specific with regard to activation and deactivation of nitrous. Why you need it:
The CAN interface in your '05 and up Pontiac holds an incredible amount of information. However, the factory didn't provide a digital interface for you to see exactly what your CAN interface monitors. With the Dashhawk Vehicle Info Display, you have access to over 100 parameters on 11 screens including speed, engine rpm, oil pressure, coolant, oil and transmission temps, throttle position, and engine load. This product also records 0-60 and quarter-mile times. 90 seconds of data can be recorded and downloaded to your PC for graphs. It also allows you to set visible and audible alerts parameters, such as speed, coolant temp or rpm, when the parameter reaches a user-defined value.

What is it?
Racepak G2X GPS-based Data Acquisition
Why you need it:
This updated race-ready GPS-based system evaluates your on track performance using satellites and a dash-mounted receiver. It works in all Pontiacs by connecting to the tach hookup on your Pontiac's distributor coil (and powering through 12v and a ground). Race teams have used similar setups for years, but now you can get the same performance data without setting up trackside beacon transmitters. According to the manufacturer, this product provides accurate speed, lap and segment times. Run a few laps, remove the compact flash card from the G2X and download the information to your PC. Designed for 4L60E and 4L80E GM transmissions, this plug-and-play computer system gives full switch-operated shift control using T-com software. According to TCI, "the user has choice of line pressures, shift timing and firmness of shift for both upshift and downshift points. A feature exclusive to T-Com WP is the ability to have part throttle shifts as a function of road speed while the wide-open throttle shifts can be a function of engine rpm." Parts are offered separately to facilitate retrofits of the 4L60E/4L80E into carbureted vintage Pontiacs.
