LS1s from '98-'00 came equipped with AIR tubes, which are removed by unbolting two 10mm bolts. The AIR tube is moved to the rear of the manifold, then the passenger-side spark plug wires are unsnapped from the coil packs. After disconnecting the coil pack harness, the five 10mm bolts that retain the coil packs to the rocker cover are removed and the assembly is lifted out of the engine bay. View Related Article
