Here's where the stock, paper air filter is located on the '98-'02 Trans Ams. It's in the plastic airbox where you see the decal "Ram Air Pontiac."
K&N invited us to try their new one-million-mile air filter and promised us we could install it in five minutes or less.
They were right. It was simple to replace the paper filter in a 2002 Trans Am WS6 with the high-quality K&N air filter.
