The Wiseco forged pistons feature larger and deeper valve pockets (16cc dish volume) than normal, a desirable feature for Edelbrock heads, as the valves are moved out slightly. The piston design, combustion chamber volume, and Fel-Pro composite No. 8518 head gasket volume work together to provide a 10.3:1 compression ratio.
