After jacking the Trans Am's nose several feet off the ground and placing high-quality jackstands under its framerails, the front tire and then the front shock-absorber are removed. The latter includes using a 9/16-inch socket for the upper-stud nut and a 1/2-inch socket to remove the two lower retaining bolts in the control arm. View Related Article
