Small-Bore SlugsEgge's new Pontiac 326 pistons are made specifically for '63 to '67 Pontiac 326 engines. They are cast from A-332 aluminum; come in standard bore of 0.020-, 0.030-, 0.040-, and 0.060-over sizes; have a wristpin diameter of 0.980 inch; and are available in a variety of compression ratios. Egge designed the double-almond valve pockets on the piston heads with sharp cuts to minimize "pocket turbulence" in the combustion chamber and "grip the burst," according to the company. Prices range from $360 to $399 (per set of eight). Egge Machine and Speed Shop; (800) 866-3443; www.egge.com. View Related Article
