The Rochester Quadrajet was first used by Pontiac on its V-8 in 1967 (1966 on the OHC-6 Sprint), and was employed by the Division for its four-barrel applications through 1981. Not originally designed for use with low-level ethanol-blend fuel, modern stock-replacement internal components allow the use of such fuel without fear of failure. View Related Article
