Every November, High Performance Pontiac travels to the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show in Las Vegas for the automobile industry's largest showing of aftermarket products. This year, at the 30th annual show, HPP found a plentiful pick of packaged products poised to please your vintage and late-model Pontiacs. For Part I, we start with brake and suspension kits and parts.
The Kevin Morgan Phoenix T/A #2 made its appearance at the 2009 SEMA show with noticeable revisions from Phoenix T/A #1 which appeared at the 2009 Trans Am Nationals. Among the changes are a new ground-effects package that includes front and rear fascias and rocker panels, quad headlights, revised foglights, a Pontiac-specific steering wheel, a Hurst short-throw shifter with a skip-shift eliminator, and a ProCharger P-1SC-1 supercharger.

Power Slot Power Alloy Slotted Brake Rotors
Why you need it.
These rotors feature an improved iron formula for increased durability and crack resistance on high-performance and heavy-duty applications. Select applications also feature directional internal vanes to allow for much greater cooling ability than factory straight-vane or pillar-vane design. High temperature black e-coating is applied to the hub and vane areas of the rotors to keep unsightly rust from showing on the unswept surfaces.
Applications
'98-'02 Trans Am and Firebird

D52 Front and Rear Calipers
Why you need it.
These direct bolt-on OE replacement calipers feature light weight, high strength, and are ready for extreme duty. Forged-billet aluminum bodies provide a substantial weight savings and inhibit rust or corrosion, as compared to the original cast-iron calipers. The two-piston design improves pad loading and clamping efficiency over the single-piston design, with an increase in overall piston-clamping area to improve stopping power. Stainless-steel pistons with high-temperature bore seals minimize heat transfer and provide maximum durability in the most extreme circumstances.
Applicationsv
Any '68 and later Pontiac equipped with the factory
single-piston D52-pad-style calipers.

Combination Proportioning Valve
Why you need it.
This new valve substantially simplifies mounting, plumbing, wiring, and brake proportioning adjustments on vehicles with custom brake systems. The combination block maintains full isolation between front and rear fluid circuits and can be used in conjunction with any tandem outlet or dual-mount master-cylinder assemblies. Its rear circuit has a single inlet and single outlet with the adjustable proportioning valve and the front circuit has a single inlet with two outlets. It can be run as a single outlet with one outlet plugged, or used to split the plumbing on its way to the front calipers. The sturdy, forged body incorporates two 5/16-inch through holes for secure mounting to the frame or to a reinforced chassis brace.

Non-ABS-equipped Pontiacs
