GM/Pontiac LSX Competition rotating assembly
Why you need it.
Creating massive horsepower with the LS-series engine for your late-model GTO or Trans Am means having a purpose-built rotating assembly. This kit includes a forged 4340 steel crankshaft with either 24-tooth or 58-tooth reluctor, 4340 steel H-beam rods, forged Mahle pistons and rings, and Clevite "H" bearings. The crank and rods (with bolt upgrade) are rated up to 1,500 hp.

If you're planning a high-horsepower build on a 455, you need to have the rotating assembly that can handle the hellacious punishment. Eagle's new Competition assembly includes a forged 4340 steel crankshaft, 4340 steel H-beam rods, forged Mahle pistons and rings, and Clevite "H" bearings. The crank and rods (with bolt upgrade) are rated to 1,500 hp. (Assemblies are available balanced or unbalanced.)

What is it?
LS-Series stainless-steel exhaust gasket set
Why you need it.
The factory's exhaust gaskets on your late-model Trans Am and '04 GTO were not designed for the extreme cylinder pressures produced by high-horsepower and high-compression turbocharged, supercharged, and nitrous oxide engines. This performance-ready gasket kit is manufactured from three stainless steel layers, resists corrosion, will not burn through or push out, and maintains maximum fastener torque retention. According to the manufacturer, its "stress-formed inner and outer layer embossments act like springs that rebound under exhaust flange clamp load, creating force to seal excessive exhaust pressure produced from cylinder heads. In addition, it will withstand different combinations of cylinder head (aluminum) and exhaust header or manifold (steel) materials, and will not deteriorate from scrubbing action caused by different expansion rates in aluminum and steel material."
