Edelbrock borrowed technology from one of its small-block Chevy castings for the Victor Pontiac. A center coolant outlet is located near the center of the intake flange, and it serves to extract coolant from the hottest part of the casting, which is between the siamesed exhaust valves. It's intended to increase head-gasket life in extreme applications. View Related Article
