Johnny torques down the cylinder heads using a stepped torque application and specific tightening sequence. There are five 8mm bolts per side along the intake, which will only receive 23 ft-lb, but the ten 11mm head bolts per side will be stepped from 30 ft-lb first pass to 50 ft-lb on the second pass, and finally 70 ft-lb.
