LS2 GTO Heads And Cam Install
|
All tuning was done through the SCT X3 Power Flash programmer and laptop. Once all the smoke cleared and Ryan worked his magic, we saw a peak gain of 74.6 rwhp and 57.46 lb-ft of torque on our in-house Dynojet. Not too shabby for really just a heads and mild cam setup that drives very close to stock and still gets an average of 21-23 mpg on the highway. Most importantly, we met our goals and are very satisfied with the low-end gains. We're sure it's going to tear it up around the track even more now! Just for fun, we compared our numbers with some other performance cars of today that have been tested on the same dyno to see where we sit. We're only down by 24.58 rwhp and 37.46 lb-ft on a Cadillac CTS-V, which has a 10ci advantage and a supercharger. A stock '10 Camaro SS was down by 59.67 rwhp and 54.67 lb-ft of torque.
