The Pypes kit comes with stainless steel OEM-type muffler hangers that will accommodate 3.00-inch tubes. Now before readers send us angry emails telling us the hangers were installed wrong, we wrestled around the tailpipes to get them to fit, and our “wrong” muffler hanger arrangement put the pipes right where we wanted them. Time will tell if the hangers fail prematurely with this setup, but hey, we’re not expecting 100,000-mile, four-seasons lifetime from our restored GTO anymore. View Related Article
